Truster Building & Fence has been a family owned and operated business for over 25 years. The company was originally started by George Truster in Rushville in the early 1980's. Seeking retirement, George sold this business to the Kent family in Shelbyville in the 1990's. In 2011, the business transferred ownership to Matt and Jessica Legan, who are continuing to uphold the same quality and values on which the company was founded.

Matt manages the day to day operations of the business. He overseas both the building and fence crews, and works with customers directly to ensure their satisfaction. Jessica is a CPA who provides the administrative support to the business, including the Accounting and Human Resources functions.
